Today took us down to the beach at Hastings for some portrait shoots of Ali (DJ SWOOSH) a local up and coming Drum and Base DJ, Ali wanted a set of moody shoots for some promotional work and an DJ competition he is short listed for.

Today Sin Bozkurt and I set off to Dungeness with Ian Edwards to create some moody images for Ian's soon to be album release. The british weather and a 6am start didn't let us down with rain and extra moodiness. After a couple of hours shooting and some useful art direction by Sinan, we got an awesome set of Images for Ian. The morning was finished off with a super cooked breakfast at the rye harbour.

Today saw Jane and Mark make their vows in front of all their friends and family at Eastbourne Town hall. It was again a glorious sunny day and following the service everyone moved to the beautiful Cavendish Hotel on Eastbourne's sunny seafront.

A beautiful summers day was a bonus for Sam and Ian who tied the knot today. Sam looked simply stunning in her dress which fitted like a dream and the Groom scrubbed up pretty well too. After a traditional church wedding in the quaint 'Church in the Woods" in St Leonards we moved on to St Leonards Gardens for the portrait shoot and later on in the evening onto the beach at Hastings.

My good buddy and fellow photographer,Sin Bozkurt and myself were recently commissioned by Ginger-Monkeys Media to cover a prestigious themed costume ball at the Savoy Hotel,London. The guests were adorned in napoleonic costumes to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the company, where guests and performers included Tony Hadley of the 'Spandau Ballet' fame, Who wants to be a millionaire's very own Chris Tarrant and comedian Tom O'Connor.

Nigel Barry is a former colleague and friend and i was delighted when he commissioned me to do the portraits for his new website for his professional Toastmaster business. Although the weather wasn't great we managed to get some nice shots which he is going to put on use on his new website when up and running and on his business stationary and advertising.

I shot John's wedding back in the summer and was delighted when he approached me to do a shoot to help promote his DJ business. We were lucky enough to be able to use the awesome location of the Green Room in Hastings and John was really pleased with the results.

The 1st assignment this year was a surprise 70th birthday party. With family and friends from afar all gathered together sworn to secrecy to celebrate 70 glorious years of Cynthia. With much perseverance the family managed to keep the secret and the look on the party princess was a picture (no pun intended). An excellent night was had by all and some fantastic shots of family and friends will be treasured.

Whilst sitting at home i received a frantic telephone call asking if i was free to shoot a wedding the following day on December 4th 2010. Lisa the bride had received a call from her friend who was due to shoot the wedding but was stuck in the snow near London. The day of the wedding we had lots of rain and this gor rid of most of the snow, however it meant that we were unable to shoot outside due to the foul weather. That said the couple had a fantastic day and i was able to get some great shots throughout the day for Lisa and Gareth to treasure forever.

I was lucky enough to be commissioned to shoot Karis and Lee Phillips's wedding in East Sussex on the 25th September 2010. The bride looked stunning throughout the day and following the service at the beautiful town hall at Eastbourne the bridal party returned back to Bexhill for champagne, hot nibbles and a variety of shots at Karis's mothers gorgeous House & Gardens. The wedding breakfast was held at the stunning Bannatyne's Hotel and gardens formally known as the Beauport Park Hotel before it was purchased by Duncan Bannatyne of the'Dragons Den Fame'.

Im not a great writer of blogs, but had to say something about the beautiful Vermillion Lakes of Banff National Park. These lakes hold special meaning to me as I was married just feet from them at the Juniper Hotel sited at the bottom of Mt Norquay. I was lucky enough to return to them in October 2010. The lakes are beautiful and awe inspiring any time of the year and are especially beautiful during the fall and winter months. I was lucky enough to have my own wedding photo shoot here last year with the very talented John Stewart of Adventures in Photography based in Banff and learned a lot from him in the short time we spent together during the shoot and on a workshop later in the week.

A summer wedding was perfect option for Jon and Becky Buckley, who celebrated their wedding in the Bexhill, after getting married at the beautiful Eastbourne Town Hall, the weather was sunny the venue superb. The day went without a hitch and i have become good friends with the couple since and done some promotional shots for Jon's DJ business to.
